Hi
Here is my story. I was raised by my grandmom because my mom had left long before I could eve count to three. So being a kid I’d ask for nice things that I see from other kids and every time I’d ask my grandmom for something she would say “Linda kuphela inyanga (wait for the month end)”. That meant I’ll have to wait for her pension grant. I tell you now, even today though I’m working, I still live by those 3 powerful words. It really has taught me the art of being patient, carefully considering things, like is it worth having or not. Because during the waiting period to month end, I’d realise that I don’t really need what I wanted. For example, there’s this other time when I wanted soccer boots so I could play for my school team, during the wait, I came to a decision that I no longer needed the boots but the school shoes. Today I’m really good at making sound financial decisions with no haste.
I love my granny so much
Thanks
Vuyo
