Mejo ha e rutanwe, ho rutanwa ditlhare – You are in charge of your own future

The Sesotho proverb means ‘every man is the architect of his own fortune’. The meaning of this is that every person gets to pave their own future. It is up to you to create your greatness. You have the power to make something out of yourself. Be it mind-set or just getting up and starting something, you are in charge of your own future.

Nelson Mandela once said, ‘I am the master of my fate and the captain of my destiny’. Acknowledging that you are responsible for your own life and that you must take control of that responsibility is a powerful tool to humankind.

How are you paving your path? We’d love to hear about it.
